GAA Coaching
On the 22nd January, TYs took part in a coaching progrme. We were first thought about the first 4 modueles of the course, we took notes on this and on the characteristics of coaching.
In the afternoon, the TY group were split into 4 seperate groups, each group got a hurling skill that they would have to coach to the rest of the TYs. Our activity was the solo run, we showed the class how to do the skill and then we did a drill with them to help them learn the skill easier. After this Damien Coleman tod us how beneficial the course was for us.
I dont really have an interest in hurling so i didnt really get much from the day.
